The Fabric
POLYESTER
Polyester is a term often defined as “long-chain polymers chemically composed of at least 85% by weight of an ester and a dihydric alcohol and a terephthalic acid”. In other words, it means the linking of several esters within the fibers. This fabric is one of the world’s most popular textiles, and it is used in thousands of different applications. Chemically, polyester is a polymer primarily composed of compounds within the ester functional group. Most synthetic and some plant-based polyester fibers are made from ethylene, which is a constituent of petroleum that can also be derived from other sources.
CHARACTERISTICS OF POLYESTER:
- Polyester fabrics and fibers are extremely strong
- Polyester is very durable: resistant to most chemicals, stretching and shrinking, wrinkle resistant
- Polyester is hydrophobic in nature and quick drying.

The Care
POLYESTER CARING TIPS
Taking care of polyester is really easy. Your Polyester Robe can be machine washed at 30 °C – 86 °F with a mild detergent. Though Polyester does not require much ironing, if you must, the iron warm on the reverse side.
